Touriga Nacional is a Portuguese variety that makes wonderfully aromatic wines.
There’s a richness to the nose of this luscious red with aromas of blood plum, blackberry, dried herbs and a dash of exotic spice.
The palate is awash with succulent dark jubey fruits and lightly dusted with a little cocoa, herbs and dark spice. Medium bodied but with exceptional concentration and texture. It’s delightfully juicy and spicy with undeniable charm!

"Delicious. Exciting. Savoury, layered and complex, this has oodles of mulberry, blackberry, raspberry and red liquorice. It’s both salty and sweet, with juicy acid firmly entrenched between the two, providing balance, finesse and depth. Not enough can be said in favour of this wine. It has great length of flavour, and evolution across the palate too. A superstar from a brilliant vintage."
