Our New Release 2023 Tempranillo is here at last!
"Vibrant crimson with a youthful purple rim. Lifted aromas of damson plum and dark berries, with hints of violet, spice and subtle oak.
The palate is smooth and generous, with layers of blueberry, plum and dark chocolate. Fine, dusty tannins provide plenty of structure, becoming softer and more integrated as the wine opens in the glass. Medium to full bodied, with lovely concentration, balance and length. Enjoy now or allow it to develop further in the cellar."
Tempranillo is a famous Spanish grape variety that has become very popular in Australia. We have discovered it grows particularly well at our vineyard and in the surrounding Geographe region. We have produced a single varietal Tempranillo every year since 2004.
